Book a job

A message is a request. It becomes a booking only when the room replies and names a day. If we have not replied, nothing is held for you, and the price on the website is not yet a promise about your particular cloth.

Send three things. A note that skips them sits until we have to ask, and the date you wanted slips.

  1. The garment. For example: navy wool trousers, or a linen dress with a lining, or a pair of black jeans.
  2. The job. For example: hem, small break over a black leather shoe; or replace the zip; or a house-cotton shirt, made to measure.
  3. The date you need it, as a calendar date. For a wedding, the date of the wedding, not “sometime in June.”

You can copy this and fill the blanks, or use the button, which opens WhatsApp with the same lines ready to type into.

Write on WhatsApp

The number is 052-614-8837. The landline, if you would rather call, is 03-518-7642. Email, if you do not use WhatsApp, is desk@tailorme.pro. Put the same three things in the email. We answer the phone Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 to 17:30, and Friday from 9:00 to 12:30, unless we are in a fitting. A missed call is not a booking either.

What we will not treat as a yes

We do not confirm work on Saturday. The room is closed. A message sent on Saturday, or on Friday after 13:00, is read on Sunday. You will not get a confirmation that day, even if the phone shows that the message arrived. Please do not tell a photographer, a family, or a venue that we have the dress until you have our reply in words.

“As soon as possible” is not a date. “Before the wedding” is not a date unless the wedding date is in the same message. If the date is inside the ready time on the price list, we will probably say no, or offer a later day. A plain hem needs three working days. A wedding hem is not started in the five working days before the ceremony, and we want it in the room at least ten working days before.

For an ordinary hem, zip, button, or tear, you can also skip the message and come in the morning. Drop-off is 9:00 to 12:00, Sunday to Friday, no appointment. You will still leave with a paper ticket, and the job is agreed at the counter, not in the street. Afternoons are not drop-off. Fittings and made-to-measure always need the reply that names the afternoon: Sunday to Thursday, 13:00 to 17:00.

After we say yes

We will name the day to bring the garment, or the afternoon of the fitting, and we will repeat the price if it is the ordinary one. If the cloth might change it, we will say “bring it, and we will confirm before we start.” When you are at the table we write the ticket: job, price including VAT, ready day, phone number, and any damage already in the cloth. That ticket is the agreement. The website is the menu.

If we cannot do it, we will say no. Leather is no. A gown from scratch is no. A date we cannot hit is no. A refusal is better than a ticket we already know is a lie. The rules on uncollected garments, existing damage, VAT, Israeli law, and the courts in Tel Aviv–Yafo are on the terms page.
